Best Diagramming Tools for User Flow Mapping
We rebuilt the same 34-step mobile checkout flow in nine diagramming tools, then handed each diagram to a developer who had never seen it. The surprise was that the prettiest canvases were not the ones people read fastest. Auto-layout and connector logic mattered far more than template galleries once a flow crossed 30 nodes.
